Itinerary

• 08:00 AM - We begin your day with a hotel pick-up, setting the stage for an exciting journey.
• 08:15 AM - Your first stop is at Wat Chedi Luang, home to an enormous pagoda that once stood 100 meters high but was partially destroyed by an earthquake in 1545. At one point, this temple even housed the revered Emerald Buddha image, which now resides in Bangkok's Wat Phra Kaew. Wat Chedi Luang is renowned for its magnificent Naga staircase that graces the chapel's front porch.
• 09:15 AM - We pause at Tha Phae Gate, a historic site integral to Chiang Mai's founding by King Mangrai in 1296. These gates, including the Phae gate, alongside others like Chang Puak, Chiang Mai, and Pratu Soan Dok, served as protective entrances to the old city. The Phae gate, constructed from redbrick stone, stands on the city's east side.
• 10:00 AM - Our next destination is a hidden gem of a temple, Wat Pha Lat known for its tranquil meditation surroundings enveloped by lush jungle.
• 10:45 AM - Prepare to visit one of the holiest sites, Wat Phra That Doi Suthep (Doi Suthep temple). Perched atop a mountain, this temple offers breathtaking panoramic views of Chiang Mai. Established in 1383 under King Keu Naone's reign, it boasts a mystical birth story that adds to its allure.
