Explore the fantastic region of Thailand in the gorgeous city of Chiang Mai and know more about its historical, cultural, and natural Utopia; a place where beauty meets magnificence. Let us look behind the scenes at the breathtaking sites of our fair city, and offer you a compilation of other reasons why you just can’t beat the charm of Chiang Mai. Visit four different temples in Chiang Mai city: Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, Wat Chedi Luang, Wat Pha Lat, and the Gate of Chiang Mai - Tha Phae. Each of them displays different styles of decorating style of a mixture of ancient Thai Lanna, Burma, and Cambodia. Enjoy the best culture with the best guide, private Jo transportation, and local Tuk Tuk.
Wat Chedi Luang Varavihara
Wat Chedi Luang, this temple is the site of an enormous pagoda, originally 280 feet high, and was partially destroyed by an earthquake in 1545. At one time, Wat Chedi Luang housed the revered Emerald Buddha image now enshrined in Bangkok’s Wat Phra Kaew. One of Wat Chedi Luang’s most striking architectural features is a magnificent Naga staircase that adorns the chapel’s front porch.

Wat Phra That Doi Suthep
It is a tremendous temple complex with a visual delight every time you turn your head. It is popular with tour buses, but wait for the tour to move on and enjoy it. Give yourself plenty of time and you will not be disappointed.
Duration: 40 Minutes
Wat Pha Lat
This temple is the ancient precursor (lower on the mountain) of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. While a little is less grand than its younger sibling, it is steep with history, reverence, and peace. Boasting beautiful views of the city of Chang Mai, it is built on a stream with a series of waterfalls. A terrific place for meditation or simple reflection. Go!!
Duration: 30 Minutes
Tha Phae Gate
Romantic, Beautiful, Enchanting - these are the three words that I could sum up experiencing one of Chiang Mai's historic gates - The Tha Phae gate. When the city was founded by King Mangrai in 1296 these gates together with other gates (Chang Puak, Chiang Mai, Pratu Soan Dok) protect the old city. The Phase gate lies on the east of the city and is made of Redbrick stone.
