Doi Inthanon is Thailand’s highest mountain at 2,565 meters above sea level. Complex mountain ranges and mild climate characterize an area with moist and dense forest which is the source of important tributaries of Mae Ping River. Various streams descend, forming beautiful waterfalls; Mae Klang, Mae Ya. On the way back, a stop will be made at Karen village.

Upon arrival at Inthanon Mountain, also known as "The Roof of Thailand", visit the highest summit of Thailand, 8415 feet (2,565 meters) above sea level. Find the remains of the previous king of Chiang Mai enshrined here; then, walk along the Angka Luang Natural trail to a lookout where you can enjoy the forest from above, covered with lichens and wild orchids. You might even catch a glimpse of some rare species of birds along the trail.
