Bang Pakong River: - The Bang Pakong River is one of the major rivers flowing through Thailand's Central Basin. It originates in Prachinburi Province, and flows through Chachoengsao Province, before emptying into the Gulf of Thailand

Visit the iconic tourist attraction spot in Chachoengsao, The temple is beautiful and riverside. It was built to house one of the most sacred Buddha images in Thailand, Luang Phor Sothon which legend has it was one of three Buddha images floating down the near-by Bang Pakong River.

People from all over Thailand visit this temple to pray due to the miracles attributed to the image, such as recovery from illness and the cure of disease and is particularly well patronized by childless couples hoping to have children. Other more venal prays are for financial success and wealth.

Big Ganesh kept on a platform along with lots of Ganesh in the temple where you can worship. The view here is quite scenic and good to see with river. Lots of mouse structure where it is believed you tell what you want in his ear and he will carry your message to Ganesh.

Wat Bang Khla is the temple of bats. Big fruit bats hanging from the trees. Hundreds of them. Don't go to the temple if you are not fond of bats, because there are plenty of them. However, if you are fan of bats like we are, I highly suggest visiting this temple. An old temple where the main attraction is the hundreds of bats that live on the temple property. They are fruit bats, so they are harmless. Rumor is that the bats do not eat any fruits in the city, they go to the neighboring village to eat. It is their sign of respecting the locals and the temple. Interesting story!
